Sunrise & Sunset Camping on the Great Wall by the Lakeside

Highlights

  • Experience the once-in-a-lifetime adventure of sleeping overnight on the Great Wall of China, something once reserved only for ancient soldiers. Spend the night in a historic watchtower, overlooking the mountains and the shimmering lake below.

  • Hike the wild and unrestored sections of the Wall, where crumbling stones and dramatic landscapes provide a glimpse into history far from the tourist crowds.

  • Capture unforgettable moments of both sunset and sunrise from atop the Wall — views you can only enjoy by camping overnight at this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • A family-friendly tour suitable for travelers with children or seniors who wish to enjoy the Wall at a slower pace.

  • Ideal for travelers on a tight schedule in Beijing. If you have a flight or train the next day, we can arrange a direct drop-off from the Wall for a small fee.

  • Perfect for adventurers who want more than a day hike — spend the night in a watchtower and wake up to the Wall glowing in the morning sun.
