Itinerary

  • 08:00 – Meet your guide at Exit C, Dongzhimen Subway Station.

  • 10:30 – Begin hiking with a 40-minute ascent to the East Five-Eye Tower (Simatai West). Enjoy panoramic views and take photos.

  • Continue westward along the Wall, passing through more than 15 watchtowers. Depending on your energy, you can finish at Shalingkou or continue 30 minutes further to Zhuanduokou.

  • Explore both unrestored “wild” sections and restored parts with unique architectural designs: two- and three-story towers, flat roofs, round domes, and traditional eaves.
